Bento - Part 2

Like I said - this part will show you what you need to get more of the japanese feeling. (-:
When you are going, for exempel picnics, you can take a bento whit you and your friends. To get the real feeling you can use 4 things that are made for bento.
Bentobox, chopsticks, band, bag!
A bento box is designed to hold a lunch for one.Some of the boxes are microwave-safe, but most of them are not.

When you are going, for exempel picnics, you can take a bento whit you. To get the real feeling you can use a few things that are made for bento.
Bentobox, chopsticks, band, bag and furoshiki!




This is what a bento box look like. The shape can vary. 
The elastic red band allows the lid not to fall off.



Chopsticks and chopsticks holder. Sometimes you also has a elastic band around the chopstick holder.




This is the bag you put your bento in. It is also called kinchaku.



The furoshiki. You use it to tie up a square bento boxes instead of put it into a bag.
But it would work fine with a box of any shape to use the furoshiki.








Usually you match all the parts like this.
