Another Studio Ghibli movie - Whisper of the heart!
Plot: Shizuku Tsukishima is a high school girl who loves reading books. One summer evening she looks through the checkout cards in her library books and notices a pattern: each book had previously been checked out by someone named "Seiji Amasawa".
Next day at school Shizuku forget a book and have to run back to get it, but when she’s back she notice that a boy has found it. She begs him to give it back. And so he does. But when he’s done that – he leave a comment about the song lyrics Shizuku had in the book. Shizuku gets very irritated.
One day at the train, Shizuku sees a large cat apparently traveling by itself. When it gets off, she follows it to an antique shop, where she sees a statue of a cat in formal clothing. The owner of the shop, Mr. Nishi, tells her the statue's name is Baron Humbert von Jikkingen. After a while of more story telling’s Shizuku remember the bento (lunch box) she had to give her dad at the library. She runs to the library but she forgets the lunch at the shop. But outside the library stood the boy she met the previous day . He have her bento and he gives it to her, comments how much food is in the box and rides away on his bike singing Shizuku song and leave her in a very irritated mood – again.
Later, Shizuku goes to visit the antique shop again and finds it closed. The boy shows up and lets her in to see The Baron. Now she found out that the boy is Seiji Amasawa.
And then the real story begins...
This movie is pure magic. It gives me a lot of courage to follow my own dreams. Studio Ghibli movies are usually very mystical and that’s a thing I really like. Some things you can’t explain, some things you can. And that’s like the real life is.
